Founders:
Ken & Sharon Sherrill
Originally a sugar bush farm, this beautiful land once was "the place" for the production of maple tree sap into sweet syrup. Kenny and Sharon Sherrill bought the land in the early seventies and worked hard to develop the property into a family campground. They built the water system, excavated the pond, and created inviting sites for campers to enjoy.
Sharon effectively managed the campground while Kenny was away on tour. She served at her local church and led many of the church programs. Sharon established "Junior Church" for the kids at Sugar Bush campground and has brought many young ones to know the Lord.
Kenny was a department leader in the steel industry until he went full time into the music business. A talented guitar player and singer, Ken went to Nashville and traveled the country singing gospel and country music. His favorite songs are found on records, tapes, and CDs.
